The Prep40

The Prep 40 consists of an HL series regenerative dryer, aftercooler, moisture       separator, pre and after filters.

-40°F pressure dew point

All components are mounted and pre-piped on a single compact skid

Models match compressor sizes of 400,800, 1200, 1600 scfm

115/1/60 supply power

Abrasive blasting & painting applications that require -40°F

      dew point, examples: rail yards, ship yards, rental air, back-up air

      treatment system

The main difference between the Blastpak and Prep40 is that the Blastpak is a single tower deliquescent dryer package and the Prep40 is a Heatless Regenerative Drying package. The Blastpak is going to provide a dewpoint that is 20F lower than the temperature of the air at the vessel inlet. The Prep40 is best for applications that require a dewpoint of -40°F.
