Heatless Regenerative Compressed Air Dryers HLS Series Title
hls series heatless regenerative compressed air dryer

Our HLS Series heatless regenerative compressed air dryers are designed to protect pneumatic equipment and processes from the harmful and costly effects of compressed air moisture in low flow applications. The little brother of our highly recommended HL Series heatless regenerative compressed air dryer, our HLS Series air dryers provide a low -40° or -100° F dew point between 55 and 150 SCFM.

Since there is no external heat source, our HLS Series heatless regenerative compressed air dryers use a percentage of the dry air from one tower to regenerate the wet desiccant in the other tower. This makes the HLS Series compressed air dryer dependable and easy to monitor while requiring little maintenance. For these reasons, these compressed air dryers are ideal for protecting instruments and processes, such as critical point-of-use applications, laboratory use, paint spraying, and dust collectors.

The cycle monitor with LED and remote contact allows immediate notification of any disruption of the operation cycle. The controller also features a membrane panel housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure which clearly displays dryer operation with LED indicators for each step in the cycle sequence. This allows for a quick and easy way to monitor the performance of the compressed air dryer.

All HLS Series compressed air dryers are designed, manufactured, and tested at our Lake City, PA plant under strict quality control. Van Air HL Series heatless regenerative air dryers are engineered for long service life and superior protection of your air-operated equipment and processes. Lubricated Compressors - Dryer must be equipped with proper Van Air pre-filters. These filters must be drained and maintained as specified. Desiccant beds should be checked periodically and replaced if contamination has occured. Failure to do so may result in hazardous operating conditions and will void the warranty. An after-filter should be installed downstream of the dryer to prevent desiccant particle migration.

Non-lubricated Compressors - A particulate or coalescing pre-filter is recommended to prevent pipe scale and dust from fouling the dryer. An after-filter should be installed downstream of the dryer to prevent desiccant particle migration.
