Van Air Systems launched the Blast Pak product line 10 years ago. Thanks to our great distributor network, the product line has been a huge success for both us and them. Over the past 10 years we received a lot of positive input from distributors and contractors regarding product improvements they would like to see implemented into the Blast Pak. We listened to their recommendations and decided it was time to launch the next generation of Blast Pak. We call it the Blast Pak PRO. For those of you that are not familiar with our Blast Pak its a single tower deliquescent drying package with conveniently integrated peripherals that are pre-assembled and welded to a forklift skid, allowing maximum portability for mobile drying applications. These compressed air systems can be easily lifted on the back of a truck or trailer and moved about within a plant or worksite. The Blast Pak is an ideal solution for mobile blasting contractors. Wet compressed air clogs blasting pots and compromises the quality of the blasted substrate by putting moisture back on the surface. This moisture then flashes to rust, necessitating costly re-work.

The Blast Pak Pro features new product improvements and features including:

• Removable after cooler assembly for ease of repair/replacement
• F200 filter and muffler to eliminate oil residue from the air motor
• ¾” Auxiliary Compressed Air Fitting
• Tie downs to secure units for transport
• (2) step Carboline Exterior Paint System
• (2) step Chemglaze Paint System for internals of dryer vessel
• 1/16” Corrosion Allowance added to dryer pressure vessel
• Safety Blue External Paint Color on new PRO Series vs. white on Blast Pak Series
• Optional flexible drain hose to eliminate condensate splashing onto the skid and structural steel
• Larger air motor lubricator bowl to reduce maintenance and insure longer air motor life

By implementing these new improvements and features we are giving our customers what they asked for. But we at Van Air decided to take it one step further. With all the improvements to the paint systems and the 1/16” corrosion allowance on the dryer vessel we decided to change our existing 10-year warranty on the Blast Pak dryer vessels.   Blast Pak PRO series Warranty: Dryer Vessels on the Blast Pak PRO series will carry a 15-year warranty!! 100% warranty for the first 5 years and a pro-rated warranty for the last 10 years at 10%/year. Peripheral components on the Blast Pak Pro series dryers, including the after cooler and pneumatic fan motor, are guaranteed to be free of defective materials and workmanship for 12 months after first use or 15 months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first. This new 15-year warranty offered by Van Air enables us to rise above the competition who typically offer warranties ranging from only 90 days to 1 year.
