Coming Soon: Compressed Air Dryer Rentals

I’m pleased to announce that starting in October Van Air Systems will offer a fleet of Prep40 compressed air dryers, available for rent to all existing distributors and rental house customers.  Our fleet will consist of models FR-400, FR-800 and FR-1600.

These are completely packaged rental ready desiccant dryer systems.  The features include:

* Heavy duty skid and frame with lifting lugs and forklift channels for easy handling

* Air-cooled after-cooler with pneumatic fan motor

* Mounted moisture separator, coalescing and particulate filters

* Pneumatic condensate drain

* Heatless dryer

* NEMA 4 control enclosure for outdoor operation

* Toggle switch for -40 or -100 degree F dew point

But perhaps most importantly, our dryers are designed with features appropriate for the rental market.  A rental dryer needs to be tough, durable and able to perform in all operating conditions.

Model FR-800 Rental Dryer

For years Van Air Systems has manufactured these compressed air dryers for portable and temporary applications.  Many of our customers in this market rent compressors, dryers, and other types of equipment.   Yet to this point Van Air Systems  has never rented dryers.   Not a week goes by without an inquiry from a distributor or rental partner wanting to lease a dryer.   For too long our answer has been, “To get a dryer you need to buy it.”  Many of our customers are hesitant to purchase heavy equipment that by its nature is for temporary use.   And that’s understandable.   Going forward we want to be flexible, and we want to help our distributors and rental market customer better serve their end-users.

The ideal applications and markets that our customers – equipment dealers and rental houses – should be pursuing for rental business are pipeline construction and maintenance contractors, shipyards, power plants, portable applications requiring a low dew point, and planned maintenance shutdowns and emergency outages.

Of course competition abounds.  We’re not the only dryer manufacturer renting equipment through distribution.   So why turn to Van Air Systems for a rental air dryer?  Here are some good reasons to call Van Air Systems for compressed air dryer rentals.

1. Our fleet is brand new.  New means reliable.  Our dryers will be remain factory-owned and factory maintained.
