How Tytan Oilfield Resources is using Van Air Systems air treatment equipment to deliver cooler, drier temporary compressed air.

Did you know a compressed air system needs periodic maintenance that causes the unit to be removed from service to be completed?
When compressed air is critical to production, shutting down a dryer, filter, compressor, or other component isn't always as simple as scheduling a few hours of downtime. Production schedules, customer demands, and continuous processes can make maintenance windows difficult to find. As a result, routine maintenance may be delayed or, in some cases, overlooked altogether.
Unfortunately, postponing maintenance can create bigger problems down the road.
Filters become loaded, drains require service, desiccant or drying media may need replacement, and other components experience normal wear. When these items aren't addressed at the recommended intervals, compressed air quality and system performance can begin to suffer.

For facilities where compressed air cannot simply be shut off a backup or parallel system can allow one piece of equipment to be taken offline for routine service while another continues handling the applications compressed air requirements. This helps turn maintenance from an operational disruption into a planned event.
One of our valued distributors, Tytan Oilfield Resources, located in the Permian Basin, helps customers address this exact challenge. In addition to providing and installing new compressed air equipment and servicing existing systems, their team can provide temporary compressed air solutions to help keep operations running while equipment is offline.
Whether a system is undergoing routine maintenance, repairs, or a complete equipment replacement, having access to a temporary compressed air solution can help bridge the gap. This then allows maintenance and installation teams the time they need to properly service or replace equipment, without downtime.

Van Air Systems has proudly partnered with Javi Lozano and the Team at Tytan to provide our dryers, aftercoolers and filters, which allow Tytan to create the most efficient portable compressed air package around. Previously, when a company would rent a portable solution to allow maintenance to be performed, the portable compressor would provide hot, humid air to the facility and in some cases also cause some additional maintenance items to occur.
Tytan asked the important question, “Why can’t the portable solution be just a good as the stationary unit with a compressed air dryer? The solution that Tytan has developed addressed the 2 major factors that plague all portable air solutions, heat and built-in moisture. They externally mount a CoolPak and a D-Series Dryer filled with Van Air Deliquescent Desiccant. The hot humid air now never enters a customer’s facility, and can run without interruption until the on-site compressor is serviced and returned to duty.
